I am the queen of changing out my Christmas decor. It’s like just when I think I’ve found something that I’ll like for at least 3 years and buy butt loads of it, I change my mind. AKA the all lime green and red Christmas fest that I ADORED last year, but that I felt didn’t fit my taste or my new home at all this year. Also, when I told the hubs my change of plans for our Christmas decorations this year I got a mixed reaction… 1. Where are we going to fit even more Christmas decorations?! 2. Thank God, our decorations last year looked like Hooville! Say what?! You can imagine my response, haha.
Nonetheless, this year, I decided to go with silver, gold and white decor or as I’m calling it, my Winter Wonderland. I’m so excited to give you guys an inside look! Hopefully, I’ll still like these items next year, so I can continue to build on my collection and have even more to show y’all then!
Last year was the first time in my life that I had a real Christmas tree! I’m sure y’all can remember how excited I was. But this year was our first year getting a real, flocked tree and I couldn’t be more obsessed. It really just gives our tree a little something extra and since we never have a white Christmas here in the South, I love that it at least gives us a little bit of that feeling.
**I wish I had links for y’all to shop my gold garland and special ornaments, but those are just beautiful pieces I’ve found along the way, not online.
I’m all about having stockings that coordinate, but aren’t all the same. I just think it adds a little something to your decor. Of course, we had to add a third one for our fur baby, Champ!
I always think it’s good to add a little Christmas spirit all throughout the house, not just in common areas. It doesn’t take much to turn a boring kitchen sink into a happy holiday space!
These little Christmas trees were a steal!! They were in the dollar section at Target and I could not pass them up!! These hand towels are sold out on HobbyLobby.com 😦 but you may get lucky and find them in store and if not, Hallmark has a really cute similar one!!
My dining room has always been one of my favorite spaces because my husband built this table for me as my wedding present! Don’t mind my Anthropologie project piece back there that has been a project for like 2 years… haha. When you get a $300 piece for like $30 at Final Cut, you grab that ish quick. What I’ve learned about myself though is that refinishing furniture is not my area of expertise!!
It’s hard to see, but these napkin rings are engraved with our initial and were one of my favorite wedding presents!
Add a simple centerpiece and your dining room feels cozy and ready for holiday guests!
There you have it – a glimpse into my sparkly, winter wonderland! It’s such a shame that we only get to keep our Christmas decorations up for a month; they just make me oh so happy!
